Just in case I hadn't told you before. I'm taking three classes this semester: Intro to Photography, Photographic Illumination, and Intro to...Computers. (another issue I'll mention some other time hehehe). Anyways, after the whole history and theory at the beginning of each and every class I've taken and will probably take, now we get to the good stuff.
For illumination, we are now going to be working portraits. Now, I have some things in mind I wanted to do so I'm just gonna try and work those (the easiest ones first of course) and simultaneously try to work in the portraits for the class. I have this easy rock-chic shoot (3 times fast?) I want to try to do. I have the concept in my head but not sure if I'll be able to do it just like I want it: part commercial part artistic in a way. Our studios floor's not the best and I am going to need the help of some male classmates, which I'm not sure if they'd be into. Fingers crossed. I was able to contact my model (more about her some other time) and she's available. My make-up artist probably won't be able to make it so that'll be in my hands as well as wardrobe (which I already have) and accessories (which I need to start working on). Why can't I just do something easy?
For my Intro to Photo class we are going to be working with depth of field. I have no personal transportation. (Technically, I do but I don't know how to ride it so it's like I don't.) Due to that little issue (more issues?!?! lol) I use public transportation, which is somewhat tiring. I'm thinking for this assignment I'll do something simple at home. Maybe something with my crafts, or machine, or ....OMG!!! I THINK I KNOW!!!
